The only recently released movie I have seen so far into the new year is called You’re Cordially Invited starring Reese Witherspoon and Will Ferrell. I chose this movie because there haven’t been many good releases I have been able to watch considering it is still February. I didn’t see this movie in theatres, instead, I watched it on Prime Video. I didn’t see it on the news or in any ads so it came as a surprise to me, but the movies that come as surprises and end up being really good watches I hold in an important place.  Watch the Trailer Here   https://www.bing.com/videos/riverview/relatedvideo?q=you%27re+cordially+invited+trailer&&mid=2C1741A6F7592BB22D852C1741A6F7592BB22D85&mcid=1CD94B628B5E405F97EF4C1AE808658C&FORM=VAMGZC The new release sees Will Ferrell who plays Jim and Reese Witherspoon who plays Margot double-booking a wedding at their Bridal Suite which causes absolute chaos between the families, not knowing how to share the eventful moment. I started watching my favorite TV show of all time, Cobra Kai, on YouTube Red back in 2018 when it first came out. I would watch it in the evenings after school and in the early morning when I woke up. I was super excited when Netflix picked up the show during its third season and since then I have watched it on the platform. In terms of genre, the show would be an action/ drama with some comedy. The best episode that I could summarize is the episode that kicked off the entire series, the first episode. Titled “Ace Degenerate”, a once All-Valley karate champion and complete badass, the famous Johny Lawrence (starring William Zabka) who was known as Daniel Larusso’s (starring Ralph Macchio) epic rival has become a low-life, working crummy odd jobs, eating slim jims for breakfast, and spending his evenings getting drunk off his signature favorite, Coors Banquet.  This all changes when he defends a scrawny kid named Miguel Diaz (starring Xolo Mariduena) and has a run-in with his forme...

Hunter's New Media Blog

Hello there. My name is Hunter Eilers and this is currently my second year at LBCC. I am pursuing a major in Cybersecurity in hopes of working with computers in some kind of three-letter agency such as the FBI. I'm currently serving in the military, the Army to be specific, and plan to retire from it. I am currently attending LBCC because it will allow me to complete any prerequisite courses and meet the required credit amount so I can move to a university and begin my major there. I look forward to learning about societal issues in this class in a deeper depth than my current understanding.  I am most interested in learning about anything to do with technology since it will be a big contributing factor to my major so anything related to social media like Facebook or Instagram and what kind of influences they have on the world, both positive and negative. The pros and cons of moving from an industrialized society where technology was unknown to where we are now. The good things and...
